Orioles outfielder sent to the hospital with chest pains

By Anthony Caruso III

Adam Jones has been hospitalized.

The Baltimore Orioles outfielder was taken to the hospital for tests after experiencing shortness of breath and mild chest pains. The Orioles believe that Jones' condition is more muscular or structural in nature.

Orioles manager Buck Showalter said Jones felt weak once after being removed from the game. All the tests that have come back so far are negative.

Jones could be back in the Orioles lineup on Wednesday if there's no problems at the hospital.
