Kyle Davies' secret has been revealed.
In the hours leading up to his release by the Kansas City Royals, he was arrested for disorderly intoxication in the Tampa area. Davis was released by the Royals on Wednesday.
“I embarrassed myself and my family,” Davies said. “I made a foolish mistake. I’ll learn from it, and I’ll get past it.”
Davis' arrest and his continued failures at the big league level caused his release.
Davis, who is just 27-years-old is seeking another starting position with a new organization.
