Bryant is interested in playing overseas if there is a lockout

By Anthony Caruso III

Kobe Bryant is interested in playing basketball overseas.

His father, Joseph Bean Bryant, played previously overseas when Bryant was a young child. Bryant, the Los Angeles Lakers star, has expressed the idea of playing overseas during the NBA lockout if there is one.

Bryant reportedly already has an exhibition tour to China in the works. This comes after Deron Williams agrees to a contract with a team in Turkey if there is indeed an NBA lockout.

Many players feel the same way as Williams and Bryant, as they would have an opportunity to earn a solid income while being locked out. It would also allow the players to leverage against the owners.
