Nets hope to re-sign Humphries this off-season

By Anthony Caruso III

The New Jersey Nets would like to keep Kris Humphries this off-season.

The Nets are going as far to name Humphries the No. 1 off-season priority for the team. There are mutual interest between Humphries and the Nets to re-sign with the team.

Both sides have expressed an interest in saying put for some time, but no contract was signed. Once Humphries goes on the open market, he will become an asset that many teams will come to talk to once the new CBA comes.

The Nets are hoping that a return to New Jersey is still in the cards. He averaged 10 points and 10.4 rebounds last season as the team's starting power forward.
