Pistons are not expected to make a decision on Kuester until this week at the earliest

By Anthony Caruso III

The Detroit Pistons are still undecided about their head coaching position.

John Kuester is the current Pistons head coach. Kuester just completed his second season with the team. He replaced former Pistons head coach Michael Curry in July 2009.

Kuester signed a three-year deal with the Pistons in 2009. Since the end of the season, Kuester has not spoke with Pistons President of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars since the end of the season.

No official statement is expected to come until the Pistons are officially sold to Los Angeles-based Tom Gores. Gores could gain full control of the team this week.
