Kidd is making history at 38-years-old

By Anthony Caruso III

Who knew Jason Kidd would make NBA Finals history tomorrow.

Kidd, at 38-years-old, will become the oldest guard to start in the NBA Finals when the Dallas Mavericks take on the Miami Heat. Kidd is two years older than Ron Harper when he started for the Los Angeles Lakers in 2000.

Kidd hopes for the same result that Harper had in 2000. Harper won the NBA Championship with the Lakers in 2000 after the Lakers beat the Indianapolis Pacers in Game 6 of the Finals that year.

With a win, Kidd would be the oldest to ever win a championship in NBA history, too.
