Beckett to miss start due to illness; Aceves to start in his place

The Boston Red Sox have a pitching problem.

Josh Beckett, their ace, has been pulled from tomorrow's start. He was pulled due to a reported illness.

The illness will determine if Beckett can pitch in his next scheduled start. But right now, that's days away from being determined.

Alfredo Aceves is schedule to take Beckett's start tomorrow against the San Diego Padres.
