Carson Palmer might have to retire after all if he sticks to his guns.
Cincinnati Bengals owner Mike Brown has reiterated that Palmer is not available for a trade. Palmer has requested a trade away from the Bengals several weeks ago. Palmer even said he would retire if he's not traded.
"I want him back," said Brown. "I haven't talked to any other team about him. I have no plans to trade him."
Brown also said that he does not see an equal value on the trade market for Palmer. The Bengals need to approach the draft as if they will be without Palmer as their starting quarterback for the 2011 season.
