Providence needs a new men's basketball coach.
Providence College fired their previous head coach after three seasons. Keno Davis had a 46-50 record in his tenure, which included a 15-17 record this past season.
"I appreciate everything Keno Davis has done for our basketball program during the last three years," said Providence athletic director Bob Driscoll in a statement. "We are committed to finding a head coach that will guide our program and help develop our student-athletes in the classroom, in the community and on the court."
Davis came to Providence from Drake University, where he won National Coach of the Year in 2007-08. It is not clear how much money Davis will be getting in the future since his contract went through the 2015-2016 season.
