Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love is putting his consecutive double-double streak on the line again.
However, this time around, Love is going to be playing through an injury to add to his newly received consecutive double-double record. Love will be playing against the Utah Jazz tonight with a bruised left knee.
Love did not practice on Thursday. The team held Love out of practice in order to rest his leg. He told reporters after practice that he will be ready for the Jazz.
Love injured his leg in the Wolves game against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. It was his 52nd consecutive double-double, passing the previous record by Moses Malone, but Love was wearing a bulky brace on his knee in the fourth quarter when he was sitting on the bench.
