The Buffalo Sabres hope to have their goalie back this weeend.
Ryan Miller, the Sabres goalie, is reportedly available to return to the Sabres lineup this weekend. The Sabres will play against the Washington Capitals in Washington, before heading to Carolina an important game against the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday.
"He has an upper-body injury that we list currently day-to-day, not week-to-week. Right now we're on day-to-day," said GM Darcy Regier.
Miller took a slap shot off of his collarbone area from the Toronto Maple Leafs' Dion Phaneuf on Tuesday played role in his upper body injury. The team will not disclose what exactly his injury is.
More updates on his current condition should be coming tomorrow.
