Jacques Lamoureaux wins the 2010-11 Lowe's Senior CLASS Award for men's ice hockey

Lowe's has announces its selection for the 2010-11 Lowe's Senior CLASS Award for men's ice hockey.

Lowe's selected Air Force Forward Jacques Lamoureaux as the winner. The announcement and trophy presentation was made today by Lowe's at the NCAA Men's Frozen Four in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

The award was chosen by a nationwide vote of Division I head coaches, national media, and fans. The award is given annually to the most outstanding senior student-athlete in Division 1 men’s ice hockey.

To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as a Division 1 senior. They most also have notable achievements in four categories of excellence – community, classroom, character, and competition.

"This is truly an honor and humbling to accept this award on behalf of my teammates and the Air Force Academy," Lamoureux said. "We have had a lot of worthy candidates the last few years and for someone to win this award from the Academy is a tremendous honor."
