Packers get more explosive on offense with the selection of Green

By Anthony Caruso III

The Green Bay Packers have added to their riches.

The Packers selected Hawai'i running back Alex Green with the 96th overall pick in the draft. Green will battle with James Starks and former starter Ryan Grant next season unless Starks or Grant gets traded.

"Alex Green is going to an impact player this year for the Packers," predicts NFL Network's Mike Mayock.

Green had an 8.2 YPC average but that was inflated by the Warriors spread offense. He is an explosive downhill runner that has impressive size.
